was born in Izmir in 1950. He finished at Izmir Turkish College. After graduating from the Theater Department at the Ankara State Conservatory in 1977, he worked at the State Theatre as an actor,and later as a director. Levent taught creative acting at the Faculty of Educational Science of Ankara University, Eskişehir Anadolu University, the Theater Department of New York University, the Theater Department of Berlin College of Art School, Yorkshire Bretton Hall College, and Warwick University. Together with the European Parliament, he organized theater meeting projects and directed workshops in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Hungary as one of the committee members and organizers.
